Taz spent over 4 years as a teacher before making the move to hire global teams in the Startup space. Frustrated with the lack of diversity and inclusion in her industry, she began to focus her efforts onto more strategic hiring – educating founders and leaders on the importance of mental health, wellbeing, race, religion, culture, gender, neurodiversity and so on. She’s now a full-time Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Consultant and public speaker, delivering workshops from school students to CEOs and speaking to international audiences. Taz has collaborated with the likes of GoogleForStartups, Ministry of Justice, Facebook, Financial Times, Expedia, TechInclusion and Bloomberg. In her spare time, she’s an EnrolYourself alumni, part- time spin instructor, conqueror of Kilimanjaro, charity skydiver and a huge foodie.
Meet Jaz Marfo, a certified coach, community manager, and D,E&I expert. A lifelong entrepreneur, Jaz prides herself on her values of curiosity and connection empowering people through powerful coaching, insightful workshops, and transformational speaking. Frustrated with the lack of diversity and inclusion she began to focus onto educating talents and leaders on the importance of Allyship and inclusion. Dr. Karim Benammar is a philosopher specialising in transformative thinking, and gives leqtures and workshops to companies and organisations worldwide. He studied philosophy in England, America and Japan, taught at the University of Kobe and was a leqturer at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. He is the author of Abundance (2005), Reflection Tools (2006), Reframing – the art of thinking differently (2012) and Thinking about money and value (2013).
Jennifer Tosch, is a cultural historian, activist, founder of Black Heritage Tours in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and New York State; co-author of 3 guide books on Dutch colonial history: Jennifer is also completing a dual-Masters degree at the University of Amsterdam in (Cultural) Heritage %26 (Historic) Memory. Jennifer was born in Brooklyn, New York to Surinamese parents who immigrated to the US in 1964. In 2013 she founded the Black Heritage Tour in Amsterdam and in 2017 the Black Heritage Tour in New York State. Moreover, Jennifer is one of the voices of the Dutch Black Lives Matter movement, and is a regular speaker at Black Lives Matter demonstrations.
Antonia has a Masters degree in Zoology. She is a keynote speaker and self-taught programmer, working in the field of AR, VR, and haptics. She travels worldwide, speaking on inclusion and diversity in the workforce. She is a passionate advocate for Women in STEM, a TEDx speaker and mentor, she has been shortlisted for Nature's John Maddox Prize for her work as an LGBTQ+ speaker and activist. She is a frequent speaker at a.o. London Science Museum, the Royal Society, Kew Gardens, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Grant Museum of Zoology, BBC Radio and more.
In this session, Lesa Bradshaw draws from her lived experience as a business leader with a disability to deliver an impactful ‘re-think’ of the value that the diversity of disability brings to our economy. Designed to create a deeper understanding of the competitive advantage of a disability-confident, organisational culture, this session is guaranteed to resonate with leaders as well as the broader business audience.
Lesa is a Psychology graduate, industrial psychometrist, MBA graduate, and owner of top disability inclusion consulting firm, Bradshaw LeRoux. She is a TedX speaker known for bringing humour, direct candour and thought-stimulating accounts to land her message with sustainable impact.
Joseph is a Drama-therapist and a storyteller who has also been a cultural journalist for almost 20 years. He started writing about queer culture in Dublin in the 00s for Totally Dublin and presented GayOK, a queer community TV show. Since moving to the Netherlands 8 years ago he has worked for a queer dating agency as the social media officer and leqtured on queer culture in Amsterdam, London and Berlin. Joseph also works for a queer men's community project, Village Berlin, running workshops on the power of language between men. He is a positive queer force of energy in the universe and brings his swagger and charm to every leqture.
Roy is a qualified attorney and a director at Run to the Monster, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) short-video training organisation. Roy speaks passionately on all matters relating to DEIB. Roy believes in having tough conversations; approaching complex material with honesty, authenticity, and simplicity. Roy has mastered the art of making difficult subject matters easily digestible for audiences of all types and for all occasions.
Dr. Florien Cramwinckel has a Ph.D. in social psychology. She is enthusiastic about evidence-based interventions for behavior change, especially in the domain of sexual and gender prejudice. Inspiring others is her passion, as is evident from her extensive experience as a lecturer, host, mentor and trainer. She’s often onstage to present her work. Some of her presentations have been broadcasted on television and radio or can be listened to as podcasts. She’s also an avid writer. You can read her scientific articles or blogs about a variety of topics, such as behavioral change, investing, and diversity. To live in, and contribute to, a world where the rainbow community is celebrated is what she lives for.
Bernice Feller-Thijm is Culture & Inclusion Strategist and Team Performance Coach. With 20 years of experience guiding and managing teams within start-ups, corporates and NGOs, she specializes in unlocking people's potential in line with organizational goals, prioritizing inclusion and difference, resistance and complexity not as obstacles, but rather used as fuel. for a change. With her company JustB, Bernice leads sessions in which strategy and policy related to diversity, justice and inclusion are translated into concrete action. For this she uses system theory, which is based on the question: what is needed to make the entire system better? She helps teams create a space of psychological safety where all colleagues can communicate constructively and genuinely connect.

Aurélie Salvaire is a French author and social entrepreneur passionate about gender and narratives.
She has been working for the past 10 years in the social innovation field, collaborating with Oxfam, Ashoka, Unreasonable Institute and Impact Hub.
From 2012 to 2015, she curated different TEDx events and especially TEDxBarcelonaWomen and coached since hundreds of international speakers.
She loves to leverage media and storytelling to generate empathy, challenge stereotypes and foster behaviour change. She is also a very active speaker and trainer, promoting greater diversity and shedding light on lingering stereotypes through her platform Shiftbalance.
Mikela is a visiting leqturer at the University of Malta and is passionate about people and their potential to thrive in open and safe environments. A diplomat by profession, Mikela has adapted her skill set to the transformation of HR departments and organizations. She enjoys pushing through the barriers of convention to allow for more communication, more open cultures at work and ultimately places where people enjoy going to work and thrive. She is an accredited Executive and Team coach.

Anita is an empathy expert, author & speaker, award-winning educator, and social impact coach. A Montreal native, Anita holds a doctoral degree from McGill University where she was named Professor of the Year in 2014 and 2019. She has held a variety of leadership and advisory roles within the private and non-profit sectors and has served as a volunteer for many social purpose organisations over the past 20 years, both locally and internationally.
Kerstin Plehwe, award winning entrepreneur, tedX speaker and bestselling author is a passionate advocate of women empowerment and one of the few top rated female inspirational speakers. Plehwe has been advising companies, personalities and organizations for more than 20 years. As a consultant and advisor, she is considered a powerful driving force and pragmatic visionary, whose goal is always concrete, realizable benefits for the customer.
The focus of this session is to show you a simple framework that enables you to analyse the person in front of you, building on your own social skills and experience, and identify what is important to them culturally and then be able to choose from a range of practical strategies to improve your communication.
The result is that you will understand more about cultural expectations and you will have 1 cultural framework to apply at work and home to approach cultural differences, rather than having to learn many different national characteristics for many different people and situations, to be able to cross cultural barriers and work effectively in an international setting.
Anne Parker is a qualified L&D professional and uses her wealth of experience to enable companies to develop capabilities such as cultural agility, intercultural communication and self leadership. In 2011, she developed a unique, common sense approach to cross cultural adaptation that enables instant behavioural change which she has used in multiple trainings and workshops and in a co-authored book. Anne was born to British parents in New Zealand and has lived in Hong Kong, Bahrain, Jamaica, Nigeria, UK, Australia and is now based in Amsterdam.
Don John will talk about his own personal history and background and how that has equipped him with the wherewithal to deploy Black History as a means of examining how Race and Racism have impacted Black and White communities and how some of that history has an impact on the here and now.
Don will also explore with the audience who should or could be involved in Black History Month and how definitions of “Blackness “can influence our thinking around the roles that different groups play. He will talk specifically about what can be done to recognise unappreciated factors in that history and what specific steps individuals and organisations can take to make a difference.
Don John has been working in the field of Race & Diversity for over 40 years having spent 10 years in HM Treasury in Whitehall. he then moved to Southampton as the director for the Southampton Council for Race Equality and he has been working on Race and Diversity in many different capacities.
Don was also the founder of Black History Month in Southampton which has now been established as a core event in the city’s calendar. He is also co-author of books relating to Southampton’s Black History and is also a filmmaker and has made several short documentaries all with a “race” dimension. He has also been involved in the music industry and has curated exhibitions on subject matters of "Afro-Futurism" and " Blues Parties in Southampton”, He was also a Southampton Ambassador for Southampton’s bid to win City of Culture 2025 and was recently awarded Honorary Doctor of Arts at Solent University.

Elaine has worked in organizations for the better part of her career, leading teams, navigating politics and getting the work done. She spent 11 years of her career at the Banff Centre, eventually leading program design in the leadership development division. At lululemon athletica, she led the global design of their retail training program with a dynamic team of people. With a Master’s degree in Leadership, she is an endless resource of tools and approaches that support the changes you want to make in your organisation.
Zoe Philpott is an interactive storyteller, entrepreneur, and the creator of Ada.Ada.Ada. Her work is at the intersection of experience design and STEM. Zoe combines technology with the arts to tell stories that engage diverse audiences. In collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, her work has won seven BETTs and one BIMA as well as a BAFTA nomination. She has four-metre-high robots dance for Ford, created a binaural immersive experience to shine a light on world poverty for the Nike Foundation, and, created a 50,000-LED interactive Christmas Tree installation at the White House for Google. She is now combining all her skills to update History with her story, starting with the story of Ada Lovelace.

Tharaka Gunarathne ‘Dr T’ high performance expert and psychiatrist, is a three-times TEDx speaker, Podcaster and has recently appeared in the new celebrity TV series in the UK - "Can I Improve My Memory?" on Channel 4. As creator of the 'Mind, Action, Profit' Blueprint, with his unique Medical background and motivational style, he brings his ‘mind and performance’ insights to professional audiences around the globe in order to help them improve their personal wellbeing, effectiveness, leadership, teamwork, focus and concentration. He believes that when you ‘manage the mind, you can manage your bottom line’.
Award-winning cellist Elisabeth Wiklander worked in The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra before accepting her current position in The London Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2015 she is connecting to audiences not only as a musician but also as an autistic Neurodiversity Advocate giving presentations on international platforms and to companies such as PVH corp. and The Southbank Centre in London. She is a Cultural Ambassador for The National Autistic Society, involved in research- and consultation projects in the EU and the US. Media appearances include a TEDx talk, The Daily Politics Show (BBC live), programs for Swedish Television and recording soundtracks for the award-winning autism documentary “The Reason I Jump”.
In this session, Aysha will show why investing is a powerful tool to reduce the gender pay gap and ensure a secure and flexible future, especially in times of high inflation and heightened economic uncertainty. She will talk about the best ways to reduce investment risks without sacrificing investment performance.
Aysha will also reveal surprising and sometimes counter-intuitive research spanning 100 years of stock market investing, such as that women are generally better investors than men. Or that a Wall Street trader constantly placing transactions and monitoring the stock market all day long is, in truth, the exact opposite of how one can invest with success.
Aysha van de Paer has over 15 years of professional experience in the financial industry, including in private equity and real estate investing at established investment and consulting firms around the world.
Over the last two decades, she lived, worked, and studied in Amsterdam, New York, San Francisco, Dubai, the UK, and now Zurich, Switzerland.
